Here at Georgina Rental Homes, we want you to have the best experience possible. And since we are in the center of it all we have everything you would want to do from going to the beach to eating at the best places in San Juan at walking distance and if you want to escape and go around the island we have a Rental Car Store right next to our building.

We have the famous Old San Juan city at just a 5-minute car ride and there you can experience the rich history Puerto Rico has to offer.

Also we have our National Rainforest "El Yunque" at just a 40-minute drive. There you can experience the beauty of the largest tropical rainforest in the Caribbean.

Old San Juan

The Wall City, built by Spanish Conquistadors and settled in 1509, Old San Juan, is one of the oldest cities in the Western Hemisphere.  The narrow cobble stone streets take you to amazing shopping, restaurants, all the historic splendor of a 500 year old city.  A must see when you visit the Island there is always something for everyone in our capital city, go for piña colada where it was first invented,  visit El Morro fortress or visit one of many art galleries you will appreciate the beautiful colored houses, good food and rich Puerto Rican culture.

El Yunque National Forest

 

Covering 28,000 acres, and receiving more than 200 inches of rain per year, El Yunque National Forest is the only tropical rain forest in the US Forest System. Noted for its biodiversity, the forest is home to more than 400 different plant species. It has more than a dozen maintained trails for hiking, picnic pavilions, stone towers, rivers, waterfalls, and an interpretive visitors' center.

Condado

 

Condado is an oceanfront, tree-lines pedestrian-oriented community in San Juan. It is located east of the historic colonial district of Old San Juan. It is one of the island's primary tourist destinations for its vast amount of attractions such as hotels, beaches, nightclubs, casinos, shops, and restaurants.  This is where Georgina Rental Homes is located.

Toro Verde and Eco Tourism

 

Located in Orocovis, it is a FUN, FUN, FUN  place with the most incredible views of the mountains of Puerto Rico. Toro Verde became the largest aerial adventure park in the world with the longest zip-line on earth certified by Guinness World Records. Offering adrenaline packed activities on a world class level for all the family to enjoy. Many celebrities from all over the world have visited and even movies have been filmed on location.

Shopping

Plaza Las Americas: First opened in 1968, it became the largest indoor shopping mall in the Caribbean.Plaza Las Américas has more than 300 stores including Macy’s, the largest JCPenney in the chain, a 327,000 square-foot Sears and Sears Brand Central and a 40,000 square-foot Forever 21, among other stores. In addition, the mall also offers a 13-screen movie theater, more than 40 dining alternatives at La Terraza Food Court and other sit-down and full-service restaurants, more than 10,000 parking spaces, new and better accesses to and from the surrounding highway system, 5 valet parking stations, a permanent taxi stand and a Concierge Service Center at the mall’s Grand Court.

The Mall of San Juan: The Mall of San Juan is Puerto Rico's new, premier shopping destination, featuring a 138,000 square foot Nordstrom and a 100,000 square foot Saks Fifth Avenue. This state-of-the-art, two-level, enclosed mall, offers exquisite dining and entertainment, with unique retailers and a children's play area not found anywhere else on the island. The mall features an exclusive variety of merchants, such as: Coach, Victoria's Secret, Tory Burch, Versace, Giuseppe Zanotti, Anthropologie, Carolina Herrera, Hollister, H&M, lululemon athletica, Louis Vuitton, LUSH, Pandora, Zara, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Jimmy Choo, kate spade new york, and Tommy Bahama, among others. Kona Grill, Brio Tuscan Grille, Burger & Beer Joint, and Il Nuovo Mercato are some of the delightful dining options. At the terrace, you can enjoy an astounding view, facing San José Lagoon and San Juan.

Art Museums

Puerto Rico has always had a rich art community dating back to Spanish colonial times.  We host three world class museums or art, the Museo de Puerto Rico (MAPR), the Museo de Arte Contemporanio (MAC) and the Museo de Ponce host both puertorican and International artists and exhibitions.

Visit a Rum Distillery

Take a tour and visit one of our rum distilleries and learn about the rum making process, the history of this important Caribbean tradition and taste some of our world famous rums. At Georgina Rental Homes we only recommend two brands of local rums, the Don Q, from Cerrallez distillers, or the Ron Barrilito, a family owned local rum only distributed locally and in Spain.
